Strict Confidentiality for all Services

Lets talk realities: the communities we serve n the Texoma region are small outer-urban and rural areas. Often, the old saying "Everybody knows everybody" often applies. ARCOT has many written policies and procedures to maintain the confidentiality of our clients. No information is released to any third-party without client consent and signature on a release form. The release form states what information will be released, to whom , and for what period of time. The client may revoke the release at any time. Board, staff and volunteers are well educated regarding these policies and each sign confidentiality statements. They are informed that under penalty of law they can be prosecuted for violations or breaches of confidentiality. Our offices do not have a sign on our building identifying the organization or the services we provide. Each of our staff offices provide privacy for client/staff meetings. We have grievance procedures for clients that can progress from our local level to regional and state levels.

We take the issue of confidentiality very seriously

It is one worry we do not want our clients to be concerned with.
